Important tips to consider before installation
Location for solar heater and the hot water pipeline installation should be consulted with skilled technician while building the house.
It is advisable to keep the hot water pipe as short as possible
Hot water pipe should be properly insulated. Covering it with insulation tube within thin polythene pipe cover makes them durable.
Location for solar set placement should be out in open space facing South and should not be shaded. At least from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, it is important to get good sunlight.
Cold water tank should be at least 5 1/2 feet above the solar water heater set. Height of 6 feet or above is even better.
In order to use a pressure pump, the manufacturer should be informed in advance and the pressure tested solar set should be installed accordingly.
Get complete information about the build quality and liter capacity of solar before installing the solar set.
Be aware that most imported vacuum tube water heater sets lack maintenance facilities/ after installation services.
